Dime Más · Spanish
Draw a card. Ask the question. Listen.
Dime Más is a conversation card game, not a quiz. There is no score. You are trying to reach the person across from you, in Spanish, with English beside every question.
01
Draw a card
Sit with two to four people. Put the box in the middle. Anyone can draw.
02
Ask the question
Read the Spanish first. The English is there if anyone at the table needs it. You do not have to be perfect.
03
Listen
Stay with the answer. Let it finish before you say anything.
04
Respond
Say something back, in Spanish if you can. Ask dime más, tell me more, if you want to go further. Then pass the box on.
Use the Dime Más cards
Mix the Dime Más cards in with the rest. When one comes up, the last person to answer tells you more: a detail, an example, how it felt. No answer has to stop at the first sentence, and no two rounds go the same way.
A Spanish game night
Put one box on the table with supper, or take it to a language exchange. Two to four players, ages 16+. If the group is bigger, split into tables.
If someone is shy
Start with the English. Switch to Spanish when it feels possible. The point is the conversation, not a perfect sentence.
Both levels
Beginner (A1–A2) and Intermediate (B1–B2) play the same way. Beginner questions are shorter and closer to everyday life. Intermediate questions go further.Which level am I? →
