Why we make tools for real conversation

Cultures meet through people, and people meet through conversation. The rest follows.

We make tools that start real conversations between cultures.

ProFluency is about connection, not exams. Its ranges are tools that make connection easier. Dime Más is the first: real questions in Spanish, with English beside them, to practise the conversations that matter.

Who it's for

Love

Partners and families across cultures, who want to talk properly with the people they love.

Belonging

People who have moved, or are about to, and want to feel at home rather than a visitor.

Curiosity

Travellers and hosts who want to understand a place and its people, not just see it.

How we speak

We say

  • Pull up a chair. Let's talk.
  • What would you miss most if you moved away?
  • Draw a card. Ask the question. Listen.

We don't say

  • Master a language in 30 days!
  • Here are 10 facts about Spain.
  • Our revolutionary method guarantees results.
  • Leverage our solution to optimise outcomes.

How we make it

Made to be kept.

Tools for conversation should last. Here is what Dime Más is made of, where it's made, and what we're still working on — in plain words.

A note from the founder

I have sat at tables where I loved the people and still could not quite reach them. The feeling is ordinary. You miss a joke. A story stays in the other language. Then you fill the silence with something safer than what you meant.

To us, fluency isn't a test score. It's being able to reach someone.

It happens with a partner whose family speaks another language, and when you have moved and the city still does not feel like yours. Same thing when you travel and want more from a place than the view. Plenty of us have wanted to talk properly with someone and felt the words sit just out of reach.

ProFluency started from that. I wanted a habit as much as a language one, the kind where you show up, listen properly, and stay with a real feeling instead of sliding back to the weather or a phrase kept ready just in case.

If you are travelling or making a life in a new country, the other person is not a test. I wanted tools that help you actually reach them, the humour and the worry, the things they would only say if they thought you were really listening.

I speak Spanish at an intermediate conversational level. I learned through immersion in Spain, and I am still learning. I want to make cultural tools you can actually put on the table, that help bridge that connection.

I still come back to that. Use the words you have with a bit of care, until you actually meet the person you are speaking to.
