Terms
These terms cover this website, profluency.co.uk, and anything you buy from us directly on it. Please read them before you order. They are written in plain English for a small UK company selling physical goods. Nothing in them takes away your rights as a consumer under UK law.
Last updated: 22 October 2026.
Who you are dealing with
The site is run by PROFLUENCY LTD (trading as ProFluency), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15994594. Our registered office is 2 Comet Street, Comet Street, Bacup, England, OL13 8QH. Dime Más is a range of ProFluency, not a separate company and not a language-learning platform. The quickest way to reach us is info@profluency.co.uk.
Buying directly from us
Where a product page has a “Buy now” button, you buy from PROFLUENCY LTD. Checkout is hosted by Stripe, so we never see your card details. These terms of sale apply to those orders. We sell to consumers in the United Kingdom only.
Your order and our contract
The contract between us starts when your payment goes through and Stripe emails your receipt. If we then find we cannot send your order (for example it has sold out, or the price on the page was an obvious mistake), we will tell you by email and refund everything you paid within 14 days. We will not charge you a different price from the one shown at checkout.
Price and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total you pay for the goods. UK postage is a flat £4.62 per order and is shown before you pay. There are no other charges. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. You pay by card or wallet on the Stripe checkout page when you order.
Delivery
We post orders to the United Kingdom only, within two working days of your order (working days are Monday to Friday, not bank holidays). If we ever cannot meet that, we will email you with a new date. By law your order must arrive within 30 days unless we agree otherwise; if it does not, you can cancel and get a full refund.
The goods are our responsibility until they reach you or someone you name. If your parcel has not arrived within ten working days of dispatch, or it arrives damaged, tell us and we will send a replacement or refund you, including postage.
Changing your mind
You can cancel a direct order for any reason within 14 days of the day after it arrives, without giving a reason. Tell us by email (you can use the cancellation form, but you do not have to), then post the goods back within 14 days of telling us. You pay the cost of posting them back.
We refund the price and the £4.62 postage you paid, to the card you used, within 14 days of getting the goods back, or of you showing us proof of posting if that is sooner. Opening the box and looking through the cards is fine. If goods come back written on, damaged or with pieces missing, we may take off a fair amount for the loss in value. The full steps are on the delivery and returns page.
If something is wrong
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you can reject them for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After that, and within six months, we will repair or replace them, and if that does not fix it you can have a refund. Your rights can last up to six years. For faulty or wrong goods we pay the return postage, and we refund within 14 days of agreeing that you are owed one. A photo by email usually settles it without sending anything back.
Buying on Amazon UK
Dime Más Cards are also sold on Amazon UK. The “Amazon UK” links leave this site; checkout, payment, dispatch, returns and Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee sit on Amazon, and Amazon’s Conditions of Use & Sale apply. The Amazon listing for the intermediate cards (B0DTZ259XZ) names Profluency as the seller, so the contract for those goods is with us, fulfilled through Amazon. The price Amazon shows at checkout is the one you pay there. Your Consumer Rights Act rights apply to Amazon orders too.
Journals and other items marked coming soon are not for sale until a buy link is live.
Events
The Conversation Table is a hosted evening, not a course. There are no dated events and no tickets for sale on this site. The “save a seat” form is an interest list: name, email and town, so we can write when there is a table. If we ever sell tickets, we will say how to book, pay and cancel before we take money.
Using this website
The site is for reading about the range, the journal, events, and how to buy. Do not misuse it (for example scraping at a scale that knocks the host over, or posting unlawful content through a form). We may change or take down pages, and we try to keep product details accurate; photos are a guide, and colours on screen can differ slightly from print.
Copy, photographs and the Dime Más questions are ours, or used with permission. You may share a link. You may not copy the card text, pack the photographs for your own product, or present the site as yours. Fair dealing for criticism or review still applies.
Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of that. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses: our products are for private use. Conversation cards are tools for a table, not tuition or a guaranteed language result.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for anything else English law does not let us limit. Links to Amazon, Stripe, Instagram and Companies House are for convenience; we are not responsible for those sites.
Complaints
If you are unhappy, email info@profluency.co.uk with your order details. We aim to reply within two working days and to put things right quickly. We are not a member of an alternative dispute resolution scheme. For free, independent advice you can contact the Citizens Advice consumer service, and you can bring a claim in the courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law or our products change. The terms on this page when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there.
